A common misconception among dieters is that removing entire food groups from the diet — and complex carbohydrates, in particular — can help you remain fit and healthy, but it’s actually dangerous. Each food group plays a vital role in the body; getting your daily dose of fruits, vegetables, carbs, and protein is important to staying thin. Instead, minimize the amount of saturated fat (butter, cheese, red meat, etc.) and refined sugars you put into your body.
It’s important to have a routine fitness schedule that can be easily managed. Getting involved in physical activities such as jogging, sports or weightlifting is vital in maintaining a thin body. Not only that but when you exercise regularly, your body’s metabolism remains relatively fast, digesting food more quickly and preventing fat from accumulating.
